Feature Ideas
- We do want to avoid the "diamond expense syndrome" many mods use, and try to make things seem logical for the final craft.
Use a liquid that is created based on the block's hardness. Currently going to call it Pure Matter. It will be used along with other items in a type of infusion to craft the core components for items. Will also require a ton of energy (Some for the conversion to Pure Matter some for the infusion).
This Pure Matter will also probably be the fuel for the fusion reactor.
Currently Additive. This means the higher levels basically require you to use something that has instant break capability (Like the Multi Tool)
- Most the following ideas would probbaly be better served with using our own system instead of adding recipes for other mod's stuff.
Creative Block crafting: Once you can produce this much, why kill the server with dozens of ticking blocks producing and storing it all?
Note: Must maintain the balance of this logic. If providing creative liquids, must put a lock on the device so it cannot be set to other liquids. Likely will make our own block.
Allowing infinite of any item via creative chests, must require octuple+? equivs to validate the claim "I have insane amounts anyway..." Will Have a special block set to hold only the specific block type initially invested.
General insanity: If you can normally pulverize cobble into sand, or run in a sag mill for gravel, why cant you run compressed cobble for a diminishing return on compressed blocks? Likely increase processing time hundredfold, and return 6x or even 5x for the input 8x compressed. Likely the same for smelting dense glass: "somehow you can see through this block, although it make no sense" more thought required on the subject.
Compressing furnaces or other machines, doing a stack of the item at a time, or maybe faster work on compressed blocks. don't want to kill servers with insane ticking. Possibly require specific tier of compressed machine to properly process compressed resources.
Botania:
Creative pool: Making a Terra shatterer SS-rank requires stupid amounts of mana. if you can afford this item, you can make more at ease. Use this as proof and a crafting mat of Creative pool. Consider Gaia ingot blocks [new crafting item] an SS shatterer, and possibly something like compressed pools to craft.
Creative Mana Tablet: Consider compressing tablets with reduced eff' until the value eventually underflows and is stabilized with [expensive item here]
Infinite power gen/storage:
We all love the Draconic Evo t8 power storage, but it can be painful for some people running shaders, resource packs and toaster graphics cards. consider compressing draconium and awakened variants +the stabs for a single block compressed t8 [core, 4 3x comp drac, 4 2xcomp awakened, gives compressed core, combine with 4 comp stabs for the final t8]
Need ideas for infinite gen, but if you can hit [insane power threshold] in storage blocks, they can be crafted for creative storage of that block. Need to consider input/output rate of specific mod. some max at 10k, 250 or 500k rf/t some in the millions.
Alternatively, place in world 9x9 octuple cobble and feed power at high threshold for extended period of time to trigger a nuclear fusion reaction. if the power drops while initializing, BOOM. Consider a containment cage for the miniature sun/plasma to protect players nearby. Maybe need to feed one octuple cobble every hour or 2 to keep the reaction running.
