hmm, actually, I was wrong when commenting on the Behat/docs PR. you repo shows how to use Browserstack but not through the Mink API (your repo does not use Mink at all).

Btw, I think that the BrowserStack tunnelling can actually be used alongside the Mink integration too.
It may make sense to turn your repo into an extension managing the tunnel

So there are 2 separate integrations we have created
behat mink - https://github.com/browserstack/behat-mink-browserstack
behat - https://github.com/browserstack/behat-browserstack

Both the repos are out of the box. Just clone and add your credentials and run on the BrowserStack infra.
I have added the PR's at both the places with the right links.
I feel both are at their right places and can be merged. Kindly have a look and suggest if any changes are required.
