What problem are you facing?

OpenTofu 1.8.0 has been released. Now it is possible to have .tofu files instead of .tf files.

How could pre-commit-opentofu help solve your problem?

I'd like to be able to use the pre-commit rules on those new .tofu files.

I am also just getting an empty README.md. I guess .tofu files arent fully support yet in terraform-docs?

Can we re-open this issue please? I too am getting empty READMEs
