I maintain open-source software for practical AI and automation work.

My main project right now is Node-RED OpenAI API, a widely used Node-RED node that brings modern OpenAI and OpenAI-compatible capabilities into an open workflow runtime.

That includes work across:

  • Responses and tool-enabled workflows
  • conversations, files, runs, and related API surfaces
  • streaming and realtime integrations
  • webhook and event-driven integrations

I care about building software that is useful, inspectable, and grounded in real operational use. The goal is not to wrap APIs in hype. The goal is to make powerful capabilities usable in systems people can actually understand, adapt, and run.

Keeping that work current takes real time and real effort: implementation, testing, documentation, examples, release management, support, and ongoing compatibility work as the underlying platforms evolve.
