Memory leak?

Ive experienced strange issues with Home assistant. Often memory consumption is at 1 gb ram. After adding this custom component and a few Apple devices, it uses 4 gb and HA stops responding. Anything youve seen?

Did you set up your own anisette server when adding an account? The internal (default) 'server' runs a VM to generate headers which can use a bit of memory, but it's typically in the order of tens of megabytes, not 3 gigabytes...
