Description
Dear MachineVideoEditor Author,
I'm a user of MachineVideoEditor (MVE) and DeepFaceLab (DFL), and I truly appreciate the powerful tools you've created for deepfake workflows. They've been incredibly helpful in streamlining many parts of the process.
However, one part that remains time-consuming is manually creating XSeg masks by clicking individual nodes to draw polygons for each image—especially when dealing with large datasets.
I’d like to kindly suggest a feature enhancement:
Could you consider adding a function to MVE that automatically generates polygon nodes from an applied XSeg mask? Specifically, a tool that detects the boundary of the mask (such as the face area), and places nodes approximately every 10 pixels along the edge to create editable polygons instantly.
This would drastically reduce the manual effort required and allow users to fine-tune the polygons instead of starting from scratch. For many of us, this would be a huge time-saver and a significant improvement to the current workflow.
I believe this feature could be a major quality-of-life upgrade for the DFL community.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration—I’d be happy to provide further feedback or clarification if needed.
